I'm originally for the South Side of Chicago, Tinley Park to be exact and I've been living in Bloomington-Normal since 1997.
Time changes a person.
When I started in the business, I was 22 years old, single and had a head full of hair! Since then, I've married the love of my life (we recently celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary on August 10), rescued two dogs, was at my wife's side during her battle with breast cancer at the age of 28 (she has been cancer free since 2013) and we have two amazing daughters: Breanna (8) and Kelsey (5).
So I care about different things now compared to when I was 22.
I enjoy bike rides on the Constitution Trail, catching Bloomington Thunder Hockey and Cornbelters Baseball games with my family. We're a pretty active family and I love attending all of my daughters' activities: whether they are doing gymnastics, dance, basketball or being on the mats training them in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
In July of 2016 I walked away from the radio business to spend more time with my family while running my Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school and working on my DDP YOGA certification.
Then I received a message from the management team here at Magic 99.5 wanting to know if I'd get back in the business if I could still spend more time with my family. I am excited to be back on the airwaves to you get your mornings started with more music for your workday plus still being in a position to help local businesses and charities grow while not missing out on being with my family.
