A Milwaukee, Wisconsin man decided to have a half-beard and half-mustache when he went to the DMV to renew his license.

He wasn’t trying to make a political or religious statement.

He said, “This was an opportunity for me to make a joke. If I’m going to look at my license for the next eight years, I might as well get a laugh out of it.”

He grew his facial hair out in time for the renewal, then shaved half of it off.

No one at the DMV batted an eye after he took off his face mask for the photo.

He said, “No one mentioned it. The person taking the photo didn’t say anything at all.”
